About the lecturer:
Alden Paul D. Balili
obtained his MS in Civil Engineering major in Structural Engineering from the
De La Salle University in 2009. He is
currently teaching at the
DLSU Matrix
Theory of Structures, Finite Element Method, Strength of Materials, Earthquake
Engineering and Bridge Design since 2010. His research specializes on optimization of
structures and creating computer programs for Structural Engineering. He is experienced in the design of buildings, bridges and
telecommunication structures and has designed structures for Philippine,
American, New Zealand, European and
Australian Structural Codes. He
worked for seven years in Parsons Brinckerhoff
before joining DLSU Manila and has 8
years of continuous design experience.
